Rev. Chris Burgess oversees the running of St Philips. He also preaches, runs growth groups and encourages and supports the church and the staff. He is married to Cathy – they have three children, Dave, Mick & Jen. Chris has been in full time ministry and has served at 4 churches over the past 30 years. He is a chocoholic who loves reading, walking, fishing, coffee with Cathy and seeing people come to Jesus and grow in their faith.
Rev. David Yue is the senior pastor to the Chinese speaking members of the church. He watches over the running of the Chinese ministries. David is married to Paulina and they have a daughter Melody. He loves adventure and challenges, following Christ is the most adventurous journey in his life. David is currently trying to reduce his golf handicap to below 30 (that’s a challenge too!).
Rev. Mike Smith oversees the Night Church (6:30pm) congregation as well as the mid week youth and and young adults ministries. Mike is married to Ness with three children, Riley, Jonah, and Amelia. In addition to his passion for preaching the great news of Jesus Christ, Mike enjoys cricket and touch football, spending time with Ness and the kids, snorkelling and beachside holidays.

Kylie Dismorr assists in the day to day administration of the church. She works Tuesday and Thursday. Kylie loves to travel and explore different places. Discovering more of God, Jesus and the Bible are a favourite occupation too. She is a bit of a culture nut who likes art galleries and reading. Kylie is married to Andrew and they have two children (who hate art galleries!).
